Met at the airport and transferred to your caldera-view suite. Evening at leisure with a welcome bottle of Assyrtiko on the terrace.

2Day 2Caldera rim hike
Walk the clifftop path from Fira to Oia with a local guide — around three hours, mostly flat, ending with a swim at Ammoudi Bay.

3Day 3Volcano and hot springs by boat
Morning boat trip to Nea Kameni to walk the volcanic crater, then swim in the hot springs before a barbecue lunch on deck.

4Day 4Wine country and Pyrgos
Afternoon among the island's volcanic vineyards. Taste Assyrtiko, Vinsanto and Nykteri, finishing with a sunset dinner in Pyrgos.

5Day 5Private catamaran sunset
A private catamaran departs in the late afternoon for Red Beach, White Beach and the hot springs, with a chef-prepared dinner served on board as the sun sets.

We have travelled a fair bit and this was the first time everything simply worked. The suite in Oia was better than the photos, the private catamaran was the highlight of our honeymoon, and the restaurant they booked for our last night was a place we never would have found. The little WhatsApp updates each morning were a lovely touch.
