Overview
Mauritius is small enough to see properly in a week and varied enough to keep surprising you. This route pairs the postcard lagoon with the island's green interior: the basalt peak at Le Morne, the coloured earths at Chamarel, the Black River Gorges, and a slow finish around Blue Bay and Mahebourg. There is time to do nothing, which is the point.
