Overview
This is the trip for people who want more than a resort. We start in Ubud, where rice terraces, temples and workshops fill the days, then move south to surf and cliff-top sunsets, and finish on the quiet north coast where the diving is best.
There's a volcano sunrise hike, a silversmithing workshop, a Balinese cooking class, and plenty of unstructured time to do absolutely nothing by a pool.

- Sunrise hike up Mount Batur with a local guide
- Three nights in a jungle-view villa near Ubud

Traveller reviews
Write a reviewGreat value and a lovely mix of places
Loved that we moved between three very different parts of Bali rather than staying in one resort the whole time. The Mount Batur sunrise hike is a 3am start and I am still glad we did it. Only note is that the Uluwatu-to-airport drive on the final day is long — worth knowing in advance.
