Overview
A short, high-energy introduction to Dubai that works well as a standalone break or a stopover on the way to the Maldives. You'll see the city from the Burj Khalifa, cross the Creek by abra, and spend an evening in a private desert camp.
We keep the middle day deliberately free for a beach club or a waterpark, so families can set their own pace.
Trip highlights
- Burj Khalifa observation deck at sunset

Write a reviewPerfect long weekend with the kids
We used this as a stopover and it worked beautifully. The private desert camp was far better than the group safaris we had done before, and having a free day meant the children could have a waterpark day while we relaxed. Very well judged.
