Dubai is three hours from India and priced for every budget. What a long weekend and a full week cost in 2026, and where the money actually goes.

Dubai is the easiest international trip from India: a three-hour flight, no time difference, and a level of service that makes it work for families and first-timers. It is also the destination where budgets diverge fastest — the same week can cost ₹50,000 or ₹250,000 depending almost entirely on the hotel.
A hand-built Dubai trip starts at ₹52,000–₹64,000 per person for 7 nights, land only and based on two people sharing. That is roughly .
International flights, visas and travel insurance are not included.
The price excludes international flights, visa fees, travel insurance, meals not mentioned, and optional activities.
The best window is November–March. Travelling either side of the peak weeks usually means the same weather, lower hotel rates and far fewer people at the main sights — which is the cheapest upgrade there is.
7 nights is the sweet spot for a first trip: long enough to settle in, short enough to stay affordable. Five nights works for a short break if you stay in one area. Ten to fourteen nights lets you slow down and add a second region — and because the per-night cost barely changes, the long trip is better value per day.
Where you stay changes the trip more than what you do. Downtown and the Marina are convenient and expensive; Deira and Bur Dubai are half the price, ten minutes from the creek and much better for food. The desert safari is worth doing once and worth doing privately rather than in a convoy of forty Land Cruisers.
